He is next shown in New London, Connecticut records in 1647, then in Greenwich, Connecticut in 1651. He married Katherine, born abt 1621 in Stamford, Connecticut and died 1683, and had 4 children. John died 24 Aug 1657 in Stamford, Fairfield Co., Connecticut.
Recent research results have justified the merge of the David and Jeremiah Austin database with John of Greenwich. Previously, two major additions to this database have come from L. Scot Austin who contributed his personal database, and from the research of Rodney Dean Austin, who first learned of his connection to John of Greenwich as a result of his Austin-Austen DNA Project test.
