The database was originally digitized directly from Edith Austin Moore's 1951 book by Lloyd C. Austin in 1992. Additions have been made over the years by Marian C. Reid, John A. Maybee, and Anna K. Austin.

Arthur M. Sikes, Jr. (a Richard Austin descendant) came on board as compiler back in 2006. He has since worked tirelessly to refine the data within the database, as well as to grow the database with his and other's research.
