John Austin of Susquehanna, Pennsylvania

John Austin was b. between 1750 and 1760 most likely in Rhode Island. He was a farmer working in the Springvale, Brooklyn, and Bridgewater areas of Susquehanna County in the mid 1800's. He had at least two sons, Daniel and John Jr., both also born in Rhode Island. Each son raised large families. John and Daniel each married women named Mary, and John Jr. married Nancy Peckham.

This database is the result of combining the personal research of Ruth Austin Miller with the records of Terry Williams (now deceased). AFAOA Genealogist Liz Austin Carlin has subsequently added to these records utilizing AFAOA archive materials, census records, Susquehanna County histories and Pennsylvania vital records.
