This database was originally established by Cindy Privette of North Carolina in 1995. It has been available on the AFAOA web site as part of the Southern Unplaced database. Gerald Blake Austin of Ontario, Canada made his research available to the AFAOA in 1999. Recently, William Austin, of Hingham, Massachusetts has been working with AFAOA Genealogist Liz Austin Carlin on incorporating data from William's manuscript, "Alexander Austin and his Honea Path Family." As a result of the growth in size of the database, it has been decided to place it on the web as a stand-alone database.

Liz Austin Carlin will serve as temporary compiler so please mail any corrections, updates, etc. to her.
